In January 2018 the Pasture-Fed Livestock Association extended it’s Pasture for Life certification to milk and dairy produce. Being from animals that were 100% grass-fed means the produce exhibits unique qualities and is scientifically proven to be healthier for humans to consume than produce from animals fed grain.
Here is the story of Belvoir Ridge Dairy, who joined Pasture for Life in 2015 as one of the first farms in the UK to test the all-pasture production standards. They now have considerable demand for their milk and cheese, and have been featured on television several times and travelled to Slow Cheese in Italy to exhibit their heritage cheeses.
